The Des Moines Beach Park Event Center is the home to the Auditorium boasting over 3,700 square feet of flexible event space. This facility is perfect for any
occasion. Large family gatherings such as Reunions and Wedding Receptions shine in this building. The Auditorium has a 450 square foot stage that is perfect
for entertainment or your head table. It can seat up 360 people or accommodate 500 for standing capacity.
This facility is not limited to just weddings and reunions. Consider using this facility as the main stage for your next Company Event, Auction or Meeting! Booking this facility gives your attendees access to walk around the park, comb the beach and explore our trails. With this much space to work with let your imagination take flight!
The Des Moines Beach Park Event Center is also home to the Founders Lodge. This building once housed the Camp Staff when the Covenant Church owned and operated the Church Camp prior to 1984. This facility is perfect for any event anticipating attendance of 80 or less people. It serves as a wonderful Ready Room for the bride and groom waiting to walk the aisle in the Beach Park.
The Beach Park is surrounded by the grassy fields of the Meadow and Promontory. These outdoor spaces offer prime, up-close views of the Puget Sound and islands beyond. If the Meadow or Promontory are not your style, you can plan the perfect ceremony at Van Gasken on the Sound! This outdoor space sits just above the Beach Park boasting glorious views of the Puget Sound and Marina below!
Since the Dining Hall was renovated in 2015, it has been one of our most popular Facilities! It has a capacity is 175 with tables and chairs to accommodate 150.
The Dining Hall boasts a full commercial Kitchen available to for renters to add to their event at $150.00. It is perfect for midsize events of any type and has a
beautiful wood floors, high ceilings and a large open deck. The small lawn out front can be used for games, ceremonies, or simple mingling during the warmer months.
Within the heart of the City of Des Moines the Field House, located on 220th Street is one of few full Log Cabins left in King County from the late 1930s. This
facility is perfect for events of all types. The Field House is situated in front of Des Moines Park, offering a small playground for kids, and a spacious park
to run around in. This facility has been an icon in the Des Moines community since it was first built and has been host to countless receptions, birthday parties,
reunions and more.
The Des Moines Activity Center is a true hidden gem. Located on South 216th this facility allows guests a quiet location set back from the busy roads; yet is just
two turns away from the Kent-Des Moines exit off Interstate 5. Gleaming hardwood floors and a large stained glass window compliment exposed wood beams. Ample
on-site parking and a first class kitchen make this a perfect event space for weddings, banquets and community events.
In addition to our facilities additional services such as set up and tear down service are available. Additional amenities such as sound systems and projectors
are available for rent as well. All of these are easily added to any event.
