The promontory is perfect for outdoor elopements, small outdoor weddings, small picnics, and other small outdoor events. It is located right on the Puget Sound, with views of the Des Moines Marina pier, the Sound, and the Olympic Mountain Range.

The promontory may only be rented in conjunction with the Beach Park Auditorium, Dining Hall, or Founder’s Lodge.
