Really amazing team there, Courtney and Robert are amazing. Our day was super special thanks to them. I really appreciate it! The Founder Lodge is magical if you go for a small wedding venue!

We scheduled our wedding reception at the Beach Park with Ashley and Cortney and the entire experience was seamless. They were very generous with their time in showing us the space and were able to answer all of our questions. They helped us be able to see how our reception could fit there. We were so thankful to work them! Although we had to change our plans it was important to shout them out for making our experience so great!

The staff was great, we needed assistance with lighting the pilot light in the oven and maintenance was there quickly to fix the problem. They were great when we needed assistance, we never had to search for anyone if we had a question but they were also not intrusive at all. They were very professional and very courteous. They represent your company very well, you are very fortunate to have them representing your Facility.

It was wonderful to use the Des Moines event center facility. The space was very appropriate to our needs. We didn’t use the last day due to the extreme heat experienced that week, but we will go back in a heartbeat if we need a similar facility again.

This place is in a great location – right next to the Des Moines Marina and the beach, can’t beat it. The event center and other spaces are truly unique not to mention historical. I’ve been to a number of local Chamber events and a Holiday part here and they are always top notch. The newly renovated spaces here lend themselves to almost any type of event. The large outdoor spaces all come with great views of the water and did I mention the beach area?

Great view, beach access, “free” weekly concerts (with donation) every Wednesday night in the summertime. Only pay 1 dollar an hour for parking up to 4 hours, OR pay 5 dollars for all day parking.

Great for Birthday party gatherings. Or, whatever you deemed legit for a party. Lots of room. Lots of parking. Perfect in the summer.
