Wedding and Elopement Venues
The Beach Park Event Center rental facilities are filled with historic charm, and located just 30 minutes from Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue. The open floor plans make them easy to layout and decorate for weddings and elopements of all sizes. Bring in any caterer, food trucks, or self-cater. The Dining Hall has an attached commercial kitchen, and the Founders Lodge has a small kitchen. All vendors are welcome! The Beach Park Wedding Buyout Package
Make your wedding extra special with the Beach Park Wedding Buyout Package. Your wedding will be the only event on the property; you and up to 250 guests will have exclusive use of the facilities– three indoor facilities and three outdoor spaces. The Beach Park Wedding Buyout Package is required for Saturday and Sunday dates May – October.
The Beach Park Wedding Buyout Package Includes
8-Hour access to Auditorium for reception
2-Hour access to Meadow for an outdoor ceremony
3-hour access to Founders Lodge for dressing rooms
3-hour access to Dining Hall for pre-reception happy hour
Tables and chairs for up to 250-guests
Set up and tear down of all city-owned items
Access to commercial kitchen
Outdoor sound system for ceremony
Indoor sound system for happy hour and reception
Parking for 100 vehicles
Mid-length linens with options of colors
This package is required on Saturday and Sunday dates May through October
- $8,000.00 for an 8-hour rental
- $1,000.00 per hour for the 9th hour and so on
- $3,000.00 refundable damage deposit for groups serving alcohol
- $2,000.00 refundable damage deposit for groups NOT serving alcohol
- $175.00 non-refundable booking fee
The rental fee includes three (3) on-site facility attendants for your entire rental period to answer questions about the facility, manage parking before and after the event, provide routine restroom checks, locate all amenities, and walk through the event checklist with your team member before and after your rental.
$175.00 per additional on-site facility attendant/staff member (one required per 100 event guests; your venue rental fee includes three attendants)
Flexible with Your Dates?
Whether your dream wedding is big or small, when you select dates other than May – October weekends, you can select from three indoor facilities and two outdoor rental venues at the Beach Park to make your day just the way you want.
The Auditorium, Dining Hall, and Founder’s Lodge include adjoining outdoor spaces. All three buildings plus three outdoor spaces are at the Beach Park Event Center. Have a large group? Rent as much as you like: one or more buildings, our historic picnic shelter, and large meadow.
Haven’t Seen What You’re Looking For?
We have two facilities and two outdoor spaces at other locations in Des Moines, Washington, that might be perfect! These facilities are popular, attractive, and a little less expensive than the Beach Park.
The Activity Center and Field House Gym include large, landscaped outdoor spaces. Both have open floor plans – making them easy to layout and decorate for any event and theme. The Activity Center has an optional commercial kitchen. At both facilities, all vendors are welcome, as well as self-catering.

The Field House picnic shelter and Wooten Park Gazebo are just right for smaller weddings. Both sites are very unique. If your guests include a lot of youngsters, Wooten Park has a playground.
You can tour all our outdoor facilities at your convenience during daylight hours; they are in public parks.
